GENERAL OBJECTIVES & MISSION

General Objectives...

To develop a knowledge, understanding, skill and appreciation in the theory and operation of cosmetology. 

To develop habits of good workmanship and the orderly performance of various tasks in a beauty shop. 

To develop habits of doing thing properly in the interests of safety and hygiene for ones self and others. 

To learn to select wisely, care for, and use properly, commercial products that are related to the application of beauty treatments. 

To impart ideals and attitudes of willingness to cooperate between employer and employees. 

To foster and appreciation of the contribution of science to progress in cosmetology. 

To help the student to prepare for the state board examinations in order to obtain a license to practice cosmetology.
