Pell Grant Program (available to those who qualify)
The Pell Grant Program is a federal aid program designed to provide assistance to those who wish
to attend post High School education institutions.
- You plan to enroll in a post High School program at an eligible college, University, Vocational or Technical School.
- You will be attending school at least half time.
- You are a citizen or are in the United States for other than a temporary purpose and intend to became a resident.

Stafford Loan, SLS and PLUS Programs
Must show an eligibility or ineligibility for Pell Grant; to show need see current year, 1996-1997, The
Student Guide - Financial Aid from the US Department of Education: Grants, Loans, and
Work-Study. For 1997-1998 see the Federal Student Financial Aid Fact Sheet.
JTPA
Student's who are currently unemployed may be entitled to certain benefits such as tuition, fees, and
textbooks reimbursement. Any interested student should communicate with the JTPA at the district or
regional office nearest them. JTPA students may also apply for other federal aid programs.
Vocational Rehabilitation
Student's with a physical limitation or health problem may be entitled to certain benefits such as
tuition, fees and textbooks reimbursement. Any interested student should communicate with the
Division of Vocational Rehabilitation at the district or regional office nearest them. Rehab students
may also apply for other federal programs.
Veterans Rehabilitation
Student eligible for Veteran's Education Benefits may attend school full-time.
Veterans may also apply for other federal aid programs.
Pendleton Loan
Must be a graduate of Chillicothe High School. Interest free loan. Need based. Application may be
made through Chillicothe High School Counselor and must prove degree of need.
Any student who makes application to the school may request for the two student financial aid
programs that Chillicothe Beauty Academy, Inc. participates in.
Requests for financial aid are confidential. Please feel free to contact the business office if you have any question.

Regulations for continuation of eligibility for each financial aid
program...
A student receiving financial assistance for one academic year is not automatically eligible for
assistance the next year. In order to receive continued assistance the following academic year, a
student must:
1. Complete new applications to establish eligibility.
2. Demonstrate financial need through the application.
3. Comply with the institution's academic standards of progress.
4. Continue to be enrolled on at least a half/time basis.
